This description is based on the Rider Waite Tarot Deck. A young adult holds a sword upward and seems prepared for something to happen. Storm clouds gather and birds flock in the background. Expect the unexpected this card cautions. As Swords refer to thoughts and communication, it means someone could reach out to you or arrive unexpectantly in your life. This Page also guides you to keep your mind open to any new ideas you hear about or read.
